WHAT THIS IS ABOUT AND WHY YOU SHOULD COMPLETE IT:
The Town of Charleston Planning Board is seeking your comments on the development of the
Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Charleston’s future. Thank you in advance for completing this
survey.
A Comprehensive Plan is a big-picture guide for how the Town of Charleston wants to improve and
develop over the next several years. The plan gathers ideas and opinions from everyone in the
community. While the plan does not create actual laws, it does give guidance to the Town of
Charleston leaders, so they know what to work on. It is a roadmap that keeps the Town of Charleston
aligned with the community values and input to ensure that future projects and policies support its
goals. The Planning Board is overseeing this process and hopes to submit a Comprehensive Plan to
the Town of Charleston Board in 2025.
WHO SHOULD COMPLETE THE SURVEY:
The Comprehensive Plan should reflect the ideas and opinions of the community’s residents therefore,
each resident, member and/or property/business owner in the Town of Charleston should provide their
input. Each person, aged 16 years and older, may submit the survey to the Town of Charleston once.
CONFIDENTIALITY:
Your survey responses will be kept confidential. If you submit online, your personal data will be
separated from the rest of the survey.
